Sentinel — Personal Finance Agent (Coming Soon)

Sentinel will help you dispute charges, file chargebacks, check class action settlement eligibility, cancel unwanted subscriptions, and recover money you’re owed — all through guided conversations via the app or text.

What Sentinel can do

  • Dispute charges — Walk through the process of disputing a charge with your bank or merchant
  • File chargebacks — Help you build a case and draft chargeback documentation
  • Check class action eligibility — Review whether you qualify for open class action settlements
  • Cancel subscriptions — Identify recurring charges and provide cancellation steps
  • Recover owed money — Draft demand letters and guide you through collection responses

Sample interaction

You: I was charged $149 for a gym membership I canceled three months ago.

Sentinel: I can help you dispute that charge. First, do you have the cancellation confirmation (email, letter, or screenshot)? I’ll also need to know which bank issued the card that was charged.

The agent walks you through gathering evidence, drafting a dispute, and submitting it to your bank.

Steps

Step 1: Open Sentinel

Tap Agents in the sidebar and select Sentinel. Or text the agent’s number directly via SMS at +1 (415) 994-5580.

Step 2: Describe your situation

Tell the agent what happened — an unauthorized charge, a subscription you want to cancel, or money you’re owed. Be specific about amounts, dates, and companies involved.

Step 3: Follow the guided steps

Sentinel asks targeted questions, reviews relevant context from your Memory Vault, and walks you through the resolution process step by step.

Step 4: Take action

The agent helps you draft letters, fill out dispute forms, or provides cancellation links. You send the documents — Sentinel prepares them.

Good to know

  • Anuma does not access your bank accounts directly. Sentinel helps you prepare documents and guide the process, but you submit everything yourself.
  • Sentinel uses your Memory Vault to personalize help. If you’ve shared financial details in previous conversations, the agent can reference them.
  • Sentinel requires open source models for sensitive financial topics.
  • You can reach Sentinel via SMS/iMessage for quick help on the go.
