How Anuma agents work

Anuma agents are purpose-built AI assistants that solve real-life problems — personal finance, housing disputes, and more. Each agent leverages your private memory for personalized assistance, and you can reach them via the app or text message.

How agents differ from regular chat

Regular chat gives you a general-purpose AI conversation. Agents are built for specific tasks. They know what questions to ask, what documents to review, and what actions to take. They also read from your Memory Vault to personalize their help.

How to use an agent

Step 1: Open the Agents marketplace

Tap Agents in the sidebar to browse available agents. You can also access agents from the chat creation menu by tapping the menu button and selecting Agents.

Step 2: Choose an agent

Browse agents by category: Productivity, Social, Entertainment, Education. Each agent card shows a description, features, and example conversations.

Step 3: Start a conversation

Tap an agent card to start a conversation. The agent introduces itself and begins working on your task. It may ask you questions, request documents, or guide you through a process.

Step 4: Text an agent (optional)

Some agents are available via SMS and iMessage. If an agent has a phone number listed, save it to your contacts and text it directly. Same memory, no app needed.
