Using Deep Research mode

Deep Research is an extended reasoning mode that gives Anuma more time to think through complex questions. When activated, Anuma uses enhanced thinking and research capabilities to deliver more thorough, well-reasoned responses.

Steps

In any chat, tap the menu button in the chat input area to see available tools.

Step 2: Select Deep Research

Choose Deep Research from the tools menu. The chat input indicator shows that Deep Research is active.

Step 3: Ask your question

Type a complex question that benefits from extended reasoning. Deep Research works best for questions that require analysis, comparison, multi-step reasoning, or exploring a topic in depth.

Step 4: Review the response

Anuma takes more time to generate a thorough, well-reasoned response. The result includes deeper analysis than a standard chat message.

When to use Deep Research

Comparing multiple options or approaches
Analyzing complex documents or datasets
Questions that require multi-step reasoning
Research-heavy topics that need thorough exploration
Technical questions that benefit from extended thinking
