What’s new in Anuma

Follow the latest Anuma improvements, including new models, memory updates, app fixes, and product experiments.

Week of May 4, 2026

Models

  • Added support for Grok 4.3.

Improved

  • Cross-tab conversation sync now streams deltas instead of full snapshots — multi-tab chats stay in lockstep with less bandwidth and quicker convergence under heavy streaming.
  • Replaced the Terms of Service checkbox at sign-up with a passive consent line — clearer wording, one fewer click.

Fixed

  • Synthetic tool-result placeholders no longer leak into the model’s view of conversation history.

Week of Apr 27, 2026

New

  • Push notifications now fire when scheduled tasks and background agents finish — no more keeping a tab open while research runs.
  • Refreshed onboarding flow — clearer first steps for new accounts.

Mobile

iOS and Android apps are coming soon. This week’s mobile build added:

  • Slide deck mode — generate full presentations from a prompt.
  • Background removal in the image toolkit.
  • Image Studio’s preset list now matches the web app.
  • Simplified model picker — removed the Private/Standard mode toggle and Auto Model lock.

Improved

  • Council Mode  auto-exits to a normal chat when only one model remains.
  • A hard-refresh prompt now appears on 401 sign-in errors so you don’t lose draft state, and Image Studio shows the date your generation limit resets.
  • Smoother animations, refined typography, and tabular numbers across the web app.
  • Image generation shows a calmer spiral loader instead of a skeleton block.

Privacy

  • Cookie consent moved from a blocking modal to a non-blocking bottom bar.
  • Cookie consent banner now reliably shows for EU users.

Fixed

  • Streamed markdown preserves code-block indentation in assistant responses.
  • Bold spans no longer break across word boundaries in streaming output.
  • Audio playback falls back to the local cache after presigned URLs expire.
  • Onboarding dialog is responsive on smaller screens.
  • Image edit mode preserves the original image URL in conversation history.
  • Council Mode renders uploaded files after sending.
  • Scheduling reminders via chat no longer fails with an authorization error.
  • “Run as task” restored to the + menu.
  • Cloud background tasks no longer get stuck in “running” forever.

Week of Apr 20, 2026

  • Council Mode ’s default unify model is now GPT 5.4.
  • Every model is now available on every plan  — removed all tier gating.

New

  • Slide deck generation with live rendering and an improved editor.
  • Image Studio refresh — curated grid layout, expanded model selector, all image models visible.
  • Agents marketplace redesign — new landing page, cards, chat panel, and QR modal.

Mobile

  • April redesign — fresh UI, Council Mode with Unify, “Keep selected”, Auto Model selection, and new credit packs.

Improved

  • Council Mode now uses your stored memories  so unified answers reflect what you’ve taught Anuma.

  • Audio playback caches locally for instant replay across the app.
  • Fewer streaming flickers when rendering code, tables, and rich text.

  • Council Mode response cards hug their own content height.
  • Various Anuma-vs-”Anima” misspellings caught in chat title generation.

Week of Apr 13, 2026

Models

  • Added support for Claude Opus 4.7 and made GPT 5.2 the standard-mode default.
  • Migrated Qwen 3.6 Plus to a faster provider (Fireworks) for lower latency.

  • Live thinking — see the model’s reasoning stream as it works in the activity panel.
  • Custom credit costs for Audio Studio.
  • Audio and video downloads from the player toolbar.

Memory

Improved

  • Fixed a multi-tab race condition that could lose data when chatting in multiple browser tabs.

  • Sign-up page simplified to a single centered auth panel.
