New

Share images and audio straight from chat: the Share button now opens the Create-public-link dialog, so you can publish and copy a link in one step.
Share links now unfurl into rich preview cards in Slack, iMessage, and X — showing the media type, caption, and the model that made it.
Social sharing is live in the mobile app: publish images, audio, and Library items from your phone.

Improved

Your stored memories now get AI-generated topic labels automatically, on web and mobile — including older memories that never had them.
A one-time cleanup sweep removes junk auto-saved memories (like stray single-word fragments), and imported memories are now filtered on the way in. Removals are reversible.
Council Mode response cards now line up at equal heights, and three-model councils get a roomier two-row layout.
Visiting Anuma in a mobile browser takes you straight into the app — the “Continue to app / website” interstitial is gone. iPhone and iPad visitors also get a native Safari banner to open or install the app.

Fixed

Fixed a startup crash loop that could leave some new users without a working session.
Reopening a long conversation now lands on the newest message instead of stranding you near the top.
Backup restore no longer gets stuck in a loop when a message already exists on the device.
PDFs using standard fonts now render sharply in the viewer and thumbnails, fully on-device.
When a Council model’s stream fails, the error card now names the real cause instead of a generic network message.
Mobile: fixed the frozen upgrade button on the iOS paywall, Library previews wrongly showing “expired”, a flickering Library header, duplicate message bubbles after mid-response reloads, council presets shrinking before your plan loaded, and chats auto-saving a memory that was just your own name.

Models

The GPT 5.6 family — GPT 5.6 Sol, GPT 5.6 Terra, and GPT 5.6 Luna — is now available across the model picker.
Two new image models join the image picker: GPT Image 2 from OpenAI and Grok Imagine from xAI.

New

Import memories from documents. On web, you can now upload a .pdf or .docx and Anuma extracts memories from it into your Memory Vault — with OCR for scanned PDFs.
A conversation now has its own Memories panel on web: a running, right-side list of every stored memory the chat drew on, which now sticks around across reloads.
Save straight to your Library on web — drop a file to encrypt and store it (images land in Images, documents in Files), and PDF, text, Markdown, docx, xlsx, and HTML files open in a fullscreen preview instead of downloading.

Improved

You can now edit the topics on a stored memory, adding or removing tags that used to be assigned automatically and left read-only.
Your memories now show distinct icons for organizations, events, and products.
Settings → Storage now breaks out a dedicated “Conversations & memories” row so on-device usage is no longer hidden under “Other.”
Hovering the Auto row in the model picker shows the same info card — routing description plus Intelligence, Speed, and Credit rows — as every other model.

Privacy

The Android app drops broad media-read permissions it never needed; it now only writes the media you save.

A cluster of on-device storage fixes on web: no more init crash-and-reload loop for heavy accounts, no more “adapter disposed” errors wedging a new user’s first session, no destructive rebuild of a populated store, and a “Restore from backup” recovery path for a stuck migrated account.
Council Mode no longer exits the moment you pick your first model, and a runaway auto-retry loop is now capped so slow models surface an error sooner.
When an attached image can’t be prepared, the model now tells you and asks you to re-send instead of improvising a confusing reply.

Models

Added Grok 4.5, xAI’s new flagship, featured at the top of the xAI group in the model picker with a “New” badge. Grok 4.3 stays selectable.

New

Second Opinion. Under any answer, “Get a new perspective” now streams a contrasting model’s take side by side with the original — both stay visible in a two-up instead of replacing your thread. On for everyone, no setup.
Council Mode gets a Summary and Analysis rail. Once two or more models finish, a right-hand panel synthesizes their answers into one paragraph and scores the group on consensus, confidence, reasoning quality, and remaining uncertainty. You can also jump straight into Council from any page.
Slack in Connected Apps. Connect Slack to search messages, list channels, read threads, and look up people — and post messages, with each post held for your approval before it sends.
Semantic search in your Memory Vault . Browse search now uses the same on-device semantic engine as chat, so “the hotel I liked in Tokyo” finds the right memory even without the exact words.
Redesigned desktop Library. The web Library adopts the mobile tile layout — a unified grid of every creation (files, video, audio, apps) with an “All” tab, empty state, and loading skeletons.

Improved

With “all models” privacy selected, AUTO now blends model types — using open-source models generally and closed-source models for coding and reasoning, picking each where it’s strongest.
Web-search answers render cited sources as compact favicon + source-name chips inline, matching the numbered citation badges.
Long conversations open and stream noticeably faster: the thread loads a hydrated window with “load earlier,” and streaming markdown, artifacts, and slide decks no longer re-parse on every token.

Mobile

Attachments now show real previews everywhere — PDF first-page thumbnails, a video frame with a play badge, and text snippets — in both the composer and sent messages, all rendered on-device.
A visual pass across the app: redesigned Settings and subscription screens, a polished Agents surface, new haptics and toasts, inline profile-name editing, and Liquid Glass controls on iOS 26.
Council Mode streams far more smoothly, with much less churn while several models answer at once.
A new sidebar entry offers quick access to the Token Dashboard for staking and token management on the web app.

Models

Claude Sonnet 5 is here, replacing Claude Sonnet 4.6 everywhere you pick a model — the model picker, Council Mode presets, and agents — on both web and mobile.
Claude Fable 5 is back for Pro subscribers and now sits at the top of the Claude group in the model picker.

New

A new opt-in PII redaction setting under Privacy strips emails, phone numbers, card and Social Security numbers, IP addresses, and API keys from your messages before they reach model providers, then restores them in the reply.
Council Mode has its own entry in the web sidebar, with a cleaned-up preset row: Best Overall, Fast, Coding, and a fourth built from your top models.
Wallet-based accounts can now add an email address on web to receive product updates — with double opt-in, and no email login required.

iPhone photos (HEIC) and pasted images upload reliably on web, with a clear error message when something does go wrong.

Several local-database reliability fixes on web, including automatic recovery when Safari kills the background worker.
The Storage panel now reports correct sizes for images, audio, and documents, and exported slides keep their custom fonts.
Memory Vault auto-sort bulk actions now apply to every selected memory.
Closing the MFA prompt with the X now signs you out instead of doing nothing.

Live data in your chats. When your question needs it, Anuma now pulls in live web-search results, current crypto, stock, and currency prices, and weather — and cites web sources inline.
AI-built PDFs. Ask for a document and Anuma generates a real, multi-page PDF with selectable text right in the chat — with follow-up edits and several documents per reply.
Connect X (Twitter). X joins Gmail, Drive, and Calendar in Connected Apps, with chat tools for reading and posting.

A security pass closed several issues: the microphone no longer stays active after you finish, exported slide HTML is sanitized, and content-security policy was hardened.

Importing chat history no longer duplicates messages or freezes the tab on large exports.
Image uploads on iOS Safari and other WebKit browsers are reliable again.

Models

Added four open-source models : MiniMax M3, GLM 5.2, Qwen 3.7 Plus, and Kimi K2.7 Code.
Auto is now the default for everyone. The Auto router is now the default model under every privacy preference — including open-source-only and closed-source-only setups — and its routing respects your choice.

New

Connected Apps. Connect Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar — each independently — from a new Connected Apps page, and control exactly which actions each app can take in chat with per-tool allow/deny toggles.
App generation in chat. On web, Anuma can build a working app inline, preview it full-screen, and the app can call the model at runtime.
Inline maps, timelines, and image collages. Replies can render an interactive map, a vertical timeline, or an image collage directly in the conversation.
Find anything you’ve said. Cross-chat search now returns cited snippets from your chats, stored memories , and artifacts — including imported ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok history — all on-device.
Remix any artifact. Apps, slide decks, and media now carry version history and a remix / use-as-input flow with source history.
Save a highlight to memory in one click. Selecting text and choosing “Save to memory” now summarizes and stores it in a single step.
Council Mode gets one-tap defaults. The Council pill opens a send-ready panel of complementary models, and every answer gains an “Ask the council” button to fan the question across models.
A clearer out-of-credits experience. If you run out mid-answer, Anuma finishes with a short wrap-up and a clear next step instead of cutting off.
Subscription management moves into Account settings. See renew and end dates, update your payment method, and cancel — all in one place.

Models

Added Claude Fable 5 — Anthropic’s newest flagship, and the first model reserved for Pro subscribers. It sits at the top of the Anthropic group in the model picker on web and mobile.
Added Grok Imagine — xAI’s video model: generate video from a text prompt, with a new Animate mode that turns a still image into a short video.

New

Auto model selection. A new triangle-marked Auto option in the picker hands each message to a router that chooses the best model for the task — on web and mobile.
Export and import your memories. Your Memory Vault now has an Export action that downloads everything as a portable JSON file, plus an Import action that reads an Anuma export back in — handy for backups or moving between accounts.
More monthly credits on Starter. The Starter plan now includes 50× more monthly credits.
On-demand media in older chats. To save space, media from older conversations is evicted from local storage and re-downloaded on tap; backups now restore images, video, and audio on demand rather than all at once.
Memory auto-extraction comes to mobile. iOS and Android now save new facts from your chats automatically in the background, matching web.
Open any attachment full-screen. Images, PDFs, text, spreadsheets, and HTML open in a zoomable viewer with gallery navigation — from the composer, chat, and Library, and everything is parsed on-device.

Copy or edit any Council Mode prompt from a long-press menu.
Faster all around: cached decryption keys speed up opening chats, image and vault-load caching cut redundant work, and backup auto-sync is deferred until after your first interactions.

New

Sharper memory across every chat. Every completed assistant reply now auto-extracts facts and events into your Memory Vault , and identity facts (name, role, location, family, possessions) are pinned into every system prompt so Anuma doesn’t have to dig for who you are on each message. Internal evals show a +26 point recall improvement on the LongMemEval suite.
PDFs as first-class attachments on web. Attach a PDF in the composer, see a first-page thumbnail in the chat thread, and tap the tile for a zoomable, scrollable, multi-page in-app viewer with download. Bytes never leave the device.
Apps tab in the web Library. Every app you’ve generated gets auto-tracked with a live Sandpack mini-preview on the card. Use runs the app inline in the current chat; Open in chat routes back to the source conversation.

Improved

Path-based URLs on web. The Memory Vault, chats, artifacts, image / audio / video studios, agents, spark, tasks, and earn-credits surfaces all have proper paths now (e.g. /en/memory, /en/chat/<id>) instead of ?page=/?chatId= query parameters. Old bookmarked ?page=... links continue to work — a one-time client shim rewrites them on first paint.
The web app’s mobile sidebar uses the iOS-style slide-out push drawer from the native mobile app — swipe from the left edge, content slides right, sidebar slides into view behind it.
Chat error banners are now descriptive and persistent — no more generic “Something went wrong” pill. Structured error info from the SDK is surfaced and survives reloads on both regular chat and Council Mode .
Cold-load now renders a view-aware loading shell instead of a full-screen spinner — returning users see real-looking app chrome immediately during auth/wallet bootstrap.

Models

Added Claude Opus 4.8 — Anthropic’s newest flagship, swapping in wherever Anuma serves Opus. Existing selections migrate transparently.
Added Gemini 3.5 Fast, replacing the Gemini 3 Flash preview. Old selections automatically map to the new model.

New

Temporary chat. A new icon in the chat header toggles a chat that runs entirely in memory — messages, memories, generated images / video / audio, app and slide files never touch storage and are purged the moment you navigate away.
Theme picker. Settings → Accessibility → Theme offers Automatic / Light / Dark. The sidebar three-dot menu picks up the same three options as a nested submenu on desktop.
Anuma Access is publicly available. The Earn Credits surface is open to everyone, with a multi-step ZETA → tokens → credits flow diagram on the landing hero and a new Send ZETA option on the wallet pill so you can move ZETA from the embedded wallet to any address.

Web chat content can now scroll to the top edge of the viewport — no more dead-space band.
