Anuma
How is Anuma different from ChatGPT or Claude?
ChatGPT is a model. Claude is a model. Anuma is the app that brings all of them together with one memory, so you pick the right model for each task and it already knows you. Anuma also has Nearby, which uses that memory to help you meet people in real life.
Do I need separate subscriptions for each model?
No. One Anuma plan covers every model on the platform.
Can I switch models without losing context?
Yes. Your memory and the conversation carry over when you switch, and Auto can pick the model for you.
Privacy
Is my data private?
Conversations and memories are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are not end-to-end encrypted, so Anuma and its service providers may access them for operation, safety and legal compliance. Anuma does not use your data to train its own models by default. See How Anuma keeps your data private.
Does Anuma keep anything on its servers?
Encrypted backups of your conversations, so you can restore on a new device. Turn backups off in Settings → Backup to erase that copy. Public share links and memories you share with Nearby are also stored so those features can work.
Do GPT or Claude store my data when I use them in Anuma?
Your prompt and the context Anuma adds are sent to the model’s provider so it can answer. The provider’s own terms govern retention and training. Open-source models in the Private section run under zero-data-retention terms.
What happens when I delete a conversation or memory?
It is deleted from your account. Memories that age out of recall sit in Archived for 30 days, where you can restore them, before deletion. Deleting your account removes everything, including backups and your Nearby profile. See Delete your account.
Memory
What is a memory?
A fact or preference Anuma keeps from your chats or that you add yourself. Memories load into every conversation so you never re-explain yourself, and you can edit, export or delete them any time. See Memories.
Can I bring my history from another AI app?
Yes. Import exports from ChatGPT, Claude or Grok, and on the web from a PDF or Word document. See Import conversations.
Nearby
Do I have to share my location?
No. Without location sharing you are in Private mode: not on the map, unable to see others, and your profile is not used anywhere.
Can I use Anuma without ever turning Nearby on?
Yes. Anuma stays the private, multi-model AI that remembers you.
Is Nearby a dating app?
No. It is for making friends and meeting up, built on shared interests rather than swiping.
What can Nearby see about me?
In Public mode: your profile, and the memories you share with Nearby (new memories from your chats start shared). Other people never see your chats, your private memories, or your precise location. See Nearby and your data.
Plans and billing
Is Anuma free?
Yes. Free includes 100 credits a month and every feature. Starter and Pro add credits and the premium models. See Credits and usage.
What if I run out of credits?
Wait for the monthly reset, buy a $10 pack of 1,000 credits with Get more usage, or upgrade. Free accounts can also unlock more credits by verifying with Google, Apple or a phone number.
Can I get Pro without paying?
Staking 80,000 $ZETA or more through the Token Dashboard unlocks Pro for as long as the staked balance stays above the threshold.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from your account settings. See Cancel subscription.
