Your first conversation

Anuma starts with the best model picked for you and builds a memory as you go.

Available on: web, iOS, Android.

Steps

  1. Start a chat. On the web, chat is the home page. In the app, open the sidebar and tap Recents or start typing from the chat screen (Nearby is the home screen there).
  2. Leave the model on Auto, or pick one. Auto analyzes each prompt and routes it to the best model, balancing quality, cost and privacy. Tap the model pill to pick a specific model, or choose Council mode to ask up to four at once. See Auto Model and Council Mode.
  3. Ask something real. Anuma works best with context: “Help me plan a two-day trip to Montreal in November” beats “plan a trip”. Use + to attach a file or image. See File uploads.
  4. Check what it remembered. Open Memories from the sidebar. Anuma saves useful facts from the conversation; edit or delete anything. See Memories.

The privacy eye

The eye icon in the chat header is Public or Private mode. It sets whether new memories from this chat are public (and shared with Nearby) or private. New accounts start in Public mode; tap the eye before talking about anything you want kept out of Nearby. See Memory and Nearby.

Good to know

  • Different models cost different amounts of credits. The Free plan includes 100 a month. See Credits and usage.
  • On the web, every answer has Regenerate with for a second opinion from another model. Ask the council brings in more models anywhere. See Second Opinion.
  • Set tone, length and style once under Settings → Personalization. See Personality customization.
