Nearby
Nearby puts your AI memory to a new use: meeting people. Open the map, see who is around, read in words why you two might click, wave or message, and make a plan. It is opt-in, built for making friends rather than dating, and live in New York today. See What is Nearby?.

- Council Mode. Ask up to four models at once and compare their answers side by side. See Council Mode.

Privacy
Your conversations and memories are encrypted in transit and at rest. Anuma does not use them to train its own models, and you can export or delete them at any time. Encrypted backups are held on Anuma servers so you can restore on a new device, and you can turn backups off in Settings. What you send to an AI model goes to that model’s provider under its own terms; open-source models run under zero-data-retention terms. Nearby only ever uses what you choose to make public. Good to know
- You must be 18 or older to use Anuma.
- Most premium models unlock with Starter; a small set of flagship models (currently Claude Fable 5.1) is Pro-only.
- Free accounts that have not linked Google, Apple or a phone number get a smaller credit grant and no Anthropic models until they verify. See How to create an account.
