Billing, renewals, and refunds
How Anuma billing works, what happens at renewal, and our refund policy.
Who bills you depends on where you subscribed
- Web and Android — payments are processed securely by Stripe. Anuma manages the subscription directly.
- iOS app — purchases go through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple bills you, manages renewals, and issues any refunds. You’ll see the charge on your Apple account, and your receipt comes from Apple.
This affects where you cancel and where refunds come from, as described below.
When you’re charged
Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period — monthly or annual depending on your plan. Your exact renewal date and amount are visible in Settings → Subscription and on every receipt. For iOS subscriptions, you can also see and manage the renewal at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions .
Avoiding an unwanted renewal
You can cancel anytime — you keep everything you paid for until the end of the current billing period, with no cancellation fees. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date.
- Web / Android — cancel from Settings → Subscription in about 20 seconds (see steps).
- iOS — cancel through your App Store account (see steps).
Our refund policy
Charges for Anuma subscriptions are non-refundable. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for — you never lose time you’ve purchased.
Why it works this way: your plan’s credits and infrastructure are provisioned the moment a billing period begins, and because cancellation is self-serve, you’re always one step away from stopping any future charge.
iOS purchases are an exception we don’t control: refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies, not by Anuma. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com .
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under local consumer law — for example, the 14-day withdrawal right for new signups for consumers in the EU and UK.
Billing mistakes
If something looks wrong — you were charged twice, charged after you canceled, charged the wrong amount, or you don’t recognize a charge — contact us at support@anuma.ai, ideally soon after the charge so we can investigate quickly. If we made a billing error, we’ll correct it, including refunding the erroneous charge. Include your account email and the charge date. For iOS charges, you can also dispute the charge directly with Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com .
