Sharing a conversation

Publish a copy of a chat as a public link that anyone can read — no Anuma account needed. You review exactly what will be visible before anything goes live, and you can delete the link at any time.

What gets shared (and what doesn’t)

  • A readable copy of the active branch of your conversation — the messages you can currently see. Other branches and regenerated answers aren’t included.
  • Readers see your messages and Anuma’s replies, with each reply labeled with the model that wrote it, plus the conversation title.
  • The copy is frozen. Messages you send after publishing are never added — to share more of the chat later, create a new link.
  • Never shared: attachments (replaced with an “attachment omitted” note), generated images, audio, and video, interactive cards, your memories, and internal tool activity.

Steps

Step 1: Open the share dialog

On web, open the menu in the chat header and choose Share conversation. On mobile, it’s in the chat header’s overflow menu.

Sharing isn’t offered for Temporary chats or empty conversations.

Step 2: Review the copy

The dialog shows the complete transcript that will be published — scroll through it before you publish. You’ll also see how many messages are included, whether any private or internal rows were omitted, and an optional Title field.

The copy may contain personal details or credentials you typed during the chat. Nothing is redacted automatically — review before publishing.

Tap Create public link. The link (chat.anuma.ai/c?id=…) is created and copied to your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere. On mobile you can also hand it straight to your device’s share sheet.

What readers see

Anyone with the link gets a clean, read-only page: the conversation title, your messages, and Anuma’s replies with their model labels. Readers don’t need an account, and shared pages are marked not to be indexed by search engines.

Open the share dialog in any chat to see Your public links — every link you’ve published:

  • Select a link to copy it again.
  • Tap the trash icon to delete a link. Anyone with the link immediately loses access.

Good to know

  • Publishing uploads a readable copy that Anuma stores so the link can work (and can be reviewed for safety). Deleting the link deletes that stored copy. Your original chat stays private.
  • Sharing is available on every plan, on web and mobile.
  • Very long conversations can’t be published as one link (the limit is 500 messages), and unusually large individual messages are omitted rather than truncated.
  • Readers can report a shared conversation to Anuma’s safety team, and conversations that violate policy can be removed.
