Unstaking your $ZETA
Staking is never permanent — you can unstake your $ZETA whenever you want. Unstaking happens on ZetaHub , the same place you stake, and is subject to ZetaChain’s unbonding period — currently 21 days — before your $ZETA is fully withdrawable.
Example dashboard — your own staked balance, AI credits, and $ZETA rewards reflect your account and change over time.
Before you unstake
A few things to know first:
- AI credits stop accruing on the amount you unstake, as soon as the unstake takes effect on‑chain. Credits keep accruing on whatever stays staked.
- Pro benefits end if unstaking drops your combined staked balance below 100,000 $ZETA. You fall back to your underlying plan (Free, unless you also pay for Pro through Stripe — see the FAQ).
- ZetaChain’s unbonding period applies. Unstaked $ZETA isn’t instantly liquid — ZetaChain enforces an unbonding delay (currently 21 days) before it returns to your wallet, the same as any ZetaChain staking position. ZetaHub shows your exact withdrawal date when you unstake.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Token Dashboard
Tap Token Dashboard in the sidebar. Make sure the wallet that holds the staked position is connected.
Step 2: Tap Unstake
Tap Unstake. Anuma deep‑links you to ZetaHub to manage the staking position for that wallet.
Step 3: Unstake on ZetaHub
On ZetaHub, choose how much $ZETA to unstake (you can unstake part of a position or all of it) and confirm the transaction in your wallet. ZetaChain’s unbonding period begins.
Step 4: Withdraw after unbonding
Once the unbonding period completes on ZetaChain, your $ZETA becomes withdrawable to your wallet through ZetaHub. Back on the Token Dashboard, your staked balance and AI credit accrual reflect the lower amount.
What happens to my credits and Pro plan?

| You’re on paid Pro via Stripe and unstake | No change to your Stripe Pro subscription — Stripe keeps billing as usual. |
Good to know
- Unstaking is handled on ZetaHub — Anuma doesn’t hold your $ZETA, so the unstake and withdrawal happen on‑chain through your wallet.
- You pay ZetaChain network gas (in $ZETA) for the unstake transaction.
- Changed your mind? You can always stake again — your balance and any Pro benefits recover once you’re back above the threshold.
- AI credits already granted before you unstaked remain available to spend until their normal monthly expiry — staking credits expire about 30 days after each grant. See Rewards and AI credits.
