Getting a second opinion

Not sure about an answer? Ask a different model for a second opinion. With one tap, Anuma re-answers your last question with a contrasting model and shows both responses side by side — so you can compare and keep whichever you prefer, all in the same conversation.

Second Opinion vs. Council Mode

Both let you compare models, but they fit different moments:

Second Opinion is reactive — you already have an answer and want one more take on it. It’s a single tap under the response, no setup.
Council Mode is upfront — you pick 2–4 models before sending, and every one answers your prompt in parallel.

Use Second Opinion for a quick gut-check; use Council Mode when you want a panel from the start.

How it works

Step 1: Send a message and read the answer

Ask your question as usual and wait for the model to respond.

Step 2: Tap “Get a new perspective”

Under the latest answer, in the follow-up suggestions, tap Get a new perspective from [model]. Anuma rotates which model it suggests, and the suggestion respects your Model privacy setting — if you’re set to open source only, it only offers open source models. (See Choosing the right AI model.)

Step 3: Compare the two answers

The second model’s response streams in next to the original (they stack on top of each other on smaller screens). Each answer is labeled with the model that produced it, so you always know who said what.

Step 4: Keep the one you want

To make the second answer the direction of the conversation, tap Use this answer.
To stick with the original, just keep typing — your next message continues from the first answer, and the second opinion stays one tap away behind the response’s back/forward arrows (1 / 2).

Good to know

Available on the web app. Second Opinion is rolling out on the web first; mobile is coming soon.
It’s a normal generation, so it uses credits just like any other message. Different models cost different amounts — see Credits and usage.
Both answers are saved. They survive a reload, and you can flip between them anytime with the response’s branch arrows.
The suggested model rotates across your available providers, so you’re not always comparing against the same one.
