Rewards and AI credits
When you stake $ZETA through the Token Dashboard, you earn two things at once: AI credits to spend in Anuma, and $ZETA staking rewards paid by the network. This article explains how both accrue and how they show up on the Token Dashboard.
What you earn
- AI credits — earned automatically based on how much $ZETA you have staked. Credits are added to your account and spent like any other Anuma credits, across chat, image, video, and audio generation.
- $ZETA staking rewards — standard staking yield, paid in $ZETA by the network on top of your AI credits.
Credits are added to your account automatically as you stay staked.

Why credits are denominated in USD
Most staking programs pay rewards in the same token you staked, so their value rises and falls with the token’s price. The Token Dashboard pays your AI rewards in USD‑denominated credits instead: each credit is worth a fixed amount of AI usage and holds that value no matter what $ZETA is worth at any given moment.
That means every credit you earn is worth a fixed amount of AI usage — not another token whose price you have to track. (Your $ZETA staking rewards are still paid in $ZETA, so those move with the token as usual.)
How rewards accrue
- Automatic: AI credits and $ZETA rewards accrue while your $ZETA stays staked — no daily check‑in needed.
- Proportional: both scale with the amount of $ZETA you have staked. Stake 2× as much and you earn roughly 2× the AI credits and $ZETA rewards at the same rates.
- Combined across wallets: if you stake from more than one connected wallet, your balances are added together.
The Token Dashboard shows your combined Staked balance, your AI Credits, and your $ZETA Rewards.
Staking credits expire monthly
AI credits from staking are granted in monthly batches, and each grant lasts about 30 days. Unused staking credits don’t roll over to the next month — but as long as you stay staked, a fresh grant follows the last one automatically.
Current rates
The reward rate ($ZETA staking APR) and the number of AI credits you earn per $ZETA are set live and shown on the Token Dashboard — they aren’t fixed numbers, and they can change over time as the program evolves. Always treat the page as the source of truth for what you’re earning right now.

Example figures — the calculator uses current live rates, so the AI Credits and $ZETA Rewards you see will differ from what’s pictured.
The Token Dashboard includes an interactive rewards calculator:
- Enter an amount in You stake ($ZETA) to see the AI Credits and $ZETA Rewards you’d earn.
- Or enter a target number of AI Credits to see how much $ZETA you’d need to stake.
- The calculator flags when an amount unlocks Pro (100,000 $ZETA).
It uses the current live rates, so the estimate reflects today’s rates.
Pro benefits at 100,000+ $ZETA
Reaching 100,000 $ZETA staked activates the Anuma Pro Plan for as long as your balance stays above the threshold:
- 2,500 credits per month
- Unlimited backup
- 50 GB media storage
- Early access to new features
Pro benefits are on top of the AI credits you earn from staking. Staking can cover your subscription tier and earn spendable credits at the same time.
Good to know
- Rewards keep accruing automatically for as long as you stay staked.
- Staking credits expire about 30 days after each monthly grant — use them within the month; staying staked keeps fresh grants coming.
- If you unstake, AI credits and $ZETA rewards stop accruing on the unstaked portion, and your Pro benefits end if your staked balance drops below 100,000 $ZETA. See Unstaking your $ZETA.
- Anuma never charges a fee on your staking rewards or AI credits — the only cost is ZetaChain network gas when you stake or unstake on ZetaHub .
