Token Dashboard FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about staking $ZETA, earning AI credits, and unlocking Pro through the Token Dashboard.
The basics
What is $ZETA?
$ZETA is the native token of ZetaChain , the blockchain that powers the Token Dashboard. You stake $ZETA to earn AI credits and (at 100,000+ $ZETA) unlock the Anuma Pro Plan.
How do I earn AI credits?
By staking $ZETA. While your $ZETA stays staked, AI credits accrue to your account automatically. You also earn standard $ZETA staking rewards on top. See Rewards and AI credits.
Where does staking happen?
On ZetaHub . Anuma connects your wallet and tracks your staked balance, then deep‑links you to ZetaHub to complete the on‑chain stake or unstake.
Can I use the Token Dashboard on mobile?
The Token Dashboard — including crypto login and staking — is on the web today. Support in the iOS and Android apps is coming soon; for now, manage staking from the web app at chat.anuma.ai .
Plans and benefits
How much $ZETA do I need to stake to get Pro?
100,000 $ZETA (combined across all your connected wallets). Below that you still earn AI credits and $ZETA rewards, but you don’t get Pro benefits until you cross the threshold.
What if I’m already on a paid Pro subscription and I reach 100,000 $ZETA staked?
You get one Pro plan, not two. Your Stripe subscription keeps billing as normal and you keep getting 2,500 credits/month from it, while your staking earns AI credits in the background. If you later cancel Stripe, you automatically fall back to staking‑Pro with no interruption — as long as your staked balance stays at 100,000 $ZETA or more.
Do I get a Starter tier if I stake less than 100,000 $ZETA?
No. The only staking‑based plan tier is Pro at 100,000+ $ZETA. Below that threshold you still earn AI credits, but your plan benefits stay at whatever tier you’d otherwise be on (Free, or paid Starter/Pro).
How do Pro benefits turn on — is it automatic?
Yes. As soon as your combined staked balance reaches 100,000+ $ZETA, Pro benefits turn on automatically. There’s no separate upgrade step.
Rewards
What’s the reward rate?
The $ZETA staking APR and the AI credits you earn per $ZETA are set live and shown on the Token Dashboard and rewards calculator. They aren’t fixed and can change over time, so the page is the source of truth for current rates.
Can I lose my $ZETA to slashing?
Slashing exists on ZetaChain, as on other Cosmos-based chains, but it only happens if the validator you delegate to misbehaves — currently about 0.1% for extended downtime and 5% for double-signing. It’s rare in practice, and choosing established validators on ZetaHub minimizes the risk. Otherwise, your staked $ZETA is always recoverable through the standard unstaking process.
Do my AI credits expire?
Yes. AI credits from staking are granted monthly and expire — each grant lasts about 30 days, and unused credits don’t roll over, so it’s best to spend them within the period. Your current balance and the exact expiry date are shown on the Token Dashboard and your activity dashboard.
Unstaking
How do I unstake?
Tap Unstake on the Token Dashboard. Anuma deep‑links you to ZetaHub to unstake on‑chain. ZetaChain’s unbonding period — currently 21 days — applies before the $ZETA is withdrawable; ZetaHub shows your exact withdrawal date. See Unstaking your $ZETA.
What happens to my credits and Pro when I unstake?
AI credits and $ZETA rewards stop accruing on the unstaked amount. If your staked balance drops below 100,000 $ZETA, Pro benefits end. AI credits already granted remain spendable until their normal monthly expiry.
Wallets and security
Why do I have to connect and bind a wallet?
Binding links your on‑chain wallet to your Anuma account so your staking counts toward your AI credits. It’s a one‑time signature that proves you own the wallet — it doesn’t move funds or expose your keys. See Connect your wallet.
Can I stake from more than one wallet?
Yes. You can connect and bind multiple wallets; their staked balances are combined for your credits and Pro progress.
Can I use the embedded Anuma wallet to stake?
No — staking requires an external wallet (like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet) that you connect and bind. See Wallets and networks.
Where is my $ZETA actually held?
In ZetaChain’s staking system — not by Anuma. Anuma builds the UI and integration; the funds stay on‑chain, controlled by your wallet. Anuma never custodies your $ZETA or sees your private keys.
What if I lose access to my Anuma account?
Your staked $ZETA is tied to your wallet address, not your Anuma login. Your wallet’s seed phrase recovers the position — the stake is fully on‑chain.
Costs and fees
Does Anuma take a fee on rewards?
No. Anuma takes no fee on your AI credits or $ZETA staking rewards. The only cost is ZetaChain network gas when you stake or unstake on ZetaHub.
Do I need to keep $ZETA in my wallet for gas?
Keep a small $ZETA balance in your wallet to cover gas for staking and unstaking transactions on ZetaHub. Connecting and binding a wallet is free (it’s just a signature).
Buying $ZETA
Where can I buy $ZETA?
If you have no $ZETA when you open the Token Dashboard, the Get $ZETA option links to:
- Coinbase — buy $ZETA with a Coinbase account
- Alchemy Pay — buy with a debit or credit card
Both send $ZETA to your wallet on ZetaChain. You can also buy $ZETA from any major exchange that lists it (Binance, KuCoin, Gate.io, etc.) and withdraw it to your ZetaChain address.
Why doesn’t my $ZETA balance show up after I bought it?
Make sure the $ZETA was sent on ZetaChain, not Ethereum. If you bought on an exchange, choose ZetaChain at withdrawal. If your $ZETA is already on Ethereum, move it to ZetaChain with the ZetaChain Hub .
