Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication asks for a second proof when you sign in: a passkey or a code from an authenticator app. Recovery codes get you in if you lose both.
Available on: web, iOS, Android.
Turn it on
- Open Settings → Security in the app, or the security options in Settings on the web.
- Choose a method.
- Passkey. Uses your device’s Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a hardware key.
- Authenticator app. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password or a similar app, then enter the 6-digit code it shows.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe. Each code can be used once to sign in if you cannot use your usual method.
You can add both methods. Adding, removing or turning off a method asks you to verify first.
Signing in with it
After your usual sign-in, Anuma asks for the passkey or the current authenticator code. If neither is available, tap Use a recovery code.
If you lose access
Use a recovery code to sign in, then add a new method under Security. If you have no recovery codes left, email support@anuma.ai from your account’s email address.
